Over the holidays I decided to go back to the ‘good ol’ days’ and make a Christmas gift. The below is the t.v. stand that I created for Darlene’s brother Lyle. It was fun to finish school work and get my hands dirty. Check out the picture below.
Gender Gap in Education
CBC did a report on the gender gap between boys and girls in school. The gender gap between boys and girls was quite obvious at my high school. In our graduating class we had three males on honour roll and around 20 girls. Although this isn’t necessarily a representative sample it was a good example for me of how boys were falling behind in school. Check out the artlicle
