Welcome to Timmins

I finally made it out of the Kitchener-Waterloo bubble. There’s nothing wrong with KW but sometimes it’s just time to branch out a bit. Timmins is interesting but relatively uneventful. The big event today was that I suspect my hot water pipes were frozen since I didn’t get any water coming out of my hot water taps in the morning. My work up here will primarily involve research on the Mid-Canada Radar Sites that were abandoned by the Canadian military after the cold war and left to contaminate the surrounding lands that are located in the vicinity of James Bay. All 15 sites are located in or around Aboriginal land and have been a major health concern to the people in those communities.
