Smokey Mountains Vacation
Darlene and I returned last week from a wonderful vacation in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We went with my parents and a few of their friends, staying in a gorgeous cabin about 10 min outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The National park is well managed, especially considering that each year it receives over 9 million visitor days. We really enjoyed hiking to a number of waterfalls during day trips into the park. If you’re in the Tennessee or North Carolina area I highly recommend a visit to Smoky Mountains National Park. Remember…take only pictures and leave only footprints
